Canadian Immigration Plan 2023

The Government of Canada continues to implement strategies and programs that benefit the foreign population whose goal is to move to Canada; or, reunite the families of people who are already in the country through a work and/or study permit. This is why in recent days the Canadian Immigration Plan was released, which explains the following:


This program plans to welcome approximately 105,500 foreigners, becoming the main Canadian admission pathway by 2023.


IRCC is expected to introduce Express Entry draws where a bigger range of professionals are selected and where a total of 82,800 foreigners are received.


Approximately 106,500 people will benefit from this program whose main objective is family reunification.


This program has recently been updated so that by 2023, international students will be able to work more than 20 hours per week off campus.


With the support of these immigration routes, it is estimated that 465,000 foreign people will be received in Canada and benefit the population and the workforce of the country.
